Margibi County Health Team refutes claims of denying pregnant woman. 

 Margibi County- Dr. Siana Jackson has come forward to clarify recent misinformation from the media in Margibi claiming that the C.H Rennie Hospital recently rejected a pregnant woman who was in labour.

Report says, the allegedge action from the hospital workers was due to inability to pay them delivery fees.

Speaking on a local radio in the County Monday Dec 18, 2023, Dr. Jackson emphasized that the CH Rennie health facility remains committed to providing medical care to all individuals, including pregnant women. 

She stated that several online platforms and news papers have posted a story in their Monday edition claiming that the health team at the hospital denied a pregnant woman Identified as Korpo Johnson for not paying the sum of 21, 000 Liberian Dollars as delivery fees. 

Dr. Jackson at the same time outlined several challenges affecting the facility interms of medicines and medical supplies among others adding, they are managing every necessary materials that the Health Ministry has provided them. 

She expressed fruastration about the misleading information that has gone global and urged the public to refrain from spreading false information. Dr. Siana Jackson meanwhuile assured the County that the hospital remains dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of all residents. 

The head Doctor called on Journalists in Margibi to always seek accurate information from reliable sources before airing or posting on their various radios, Newspapers and online platforms at the same time encouraging them to reach out to the hospital directly when need arises for any information concerning the facility.
