Plenary Initiates Investigation into Yekeh Kolubah's Unruly Conduct

By: Benjamin Keibah

The House of Representatives has taken action to investigate Hon. Yekeh Kolubah, Representative of Montserrado District 10, following allegations made against the President of Liberia and his family during a live Facebook broadcast.

The decision was prompted by a communication from Montserrado County Electoral District 7 Representative, Emmanuel Dahn, who expressed concern over the unsubstantiated nature of the allegations and the manner in which they were delivered, which violated the Rules and Procedures of the House.

Citing specific rules related to honesty, transparency, and maintaining the dignity of the House, Representative Dahn recommended that leadership conduct an investigation into Hon. Kolubah's conduct and take appropriate disciplinary action if necessary.

Plenary voted to instruct its Rules, Order, and Administration Committee to investigate the matter further, ensuring due process is followed, and report their findings to Plenary next Thursday.
