President Boakai Vows Actions and Support after Fire Hits Speaker Koffa’s Residence.

Paynesville Liberia-Following the recent fire incident at Speaker J Fonati Koffa’s House, the Liberian Chief Executive President Joseph Nuymah Boakai has visited, and encouraged the family of speaker’s Koffa stating that his government will swiftly implement preventive measures to prevent another incident of such across the country.

Calming the families, president Boakai gives the importance of collective ties in lamenting about fire incident nationwide asserting that citizens should be vigilant at all time to be on the safe side of such casualties.

At the same time president Boakai toured Speaker Koffa entire damaged facility with other government officials escorting him.

Meanwhile Speaker J Fonati Koffa welcomed President Boakai Visit and expressed gratitude for such during his troubling time.

The speaker of the 55th House of Representatives said most of his important documents during the fire incidents were safe because they were in the basement of his house which according to him is one of the most important thing.

President Boakai concluded his visit by reiterating his government’s dedication to working with all stakeholders to enhance fire safety and how to prevent such incidents in the future thus urging citizens to remain vigilant and proactive in ensuring the safety of their homes and communities.

Government officials that were present with the Liberian Leader include Police IG Gregory Coleman, fire service Boss and Liberia information minister Jerolinmek Matthew Piah.

Meanwhile the actual cause of the fire has not been established, the house that is described by citizens as modern white solid and beautiful flat top structure is gradually going down to ashes as Fire fighters are struggling to contain the heavy fire in the Rehab Community.

Speaker Koffa, a resident of the Rehab Community is a close neighbor to former President George Weah as well as current President Joseph Nyuma Boakai.

Speaker Fonati Koffa is the second member of the 55th National legislature following the burning of Senator Saah Joseph Since 2024, Fire disaster continues to affect several homes, churches, schools and buses as the victims continue to feel the pinch with some of them not having hope to restart their lives.
