Boakai Makes New Appointments in Government, Cllr. Kuku Y. Dorbor, Cachelle Solomon Take Up Key National Positions

EXECUTIVE MANSION, CAPITOL HILL: Aimed at streenthening governance and improving instituional effectiveness, President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has made several key appointments. Familiar among the new appointees are Cllr. Kuku Y. Dorbor and Mrs. Cachelle Solomon, who have been named to significant national positions.

Cllr. Kuku Y. Dorbor has been appointed as Judge of Criminal Court “E”, 1st Judicial Circuit, Montserrado County. The appointment of the reverred female lawyer Cllr. Dorbor reflects President Boakai’s confidence in her legal expertise and commitment to justice.

Cllr. Dorbor role will be crucial in ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability within Liberia’s judicial system.

At the same time, Mrs. Cachelle Solomon has been appointed as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA). Mrs. Solomon brings with her a record of leadership and professionalism that is expected to contribute meaningfully to the effective management and modernization of Liberia’s airport facilities.

The President emphasized that these appointments are part of his administration’s ongoing effort to build strong institutions, promote accountability, and enhance public service delivery across all sectors.

“These appointments demonstrate President Boakai’s commitment to ensuring competent leadership within key sectors of government,” the Executive Mansion said in a statement.

Mr. Arthur Bestman, Executive Director, National Center for the Coordination of Response Mechanism (NCCRM)

Madam Sophie M.P. Reeves, Deputy Executive Director, NCCRM

Cllr. B. Rachell Yabah-Duobah, Officer-in-Charge, National Bureau of Concessions (NBC)

Rev. Monen J. Duoe, Officer-in-Charge, National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE)

The President extended his best wishes to all the newly appointed officials as they assume their respective duties in service to the nation.
