People will always appreciate any assistance from the government, even if the government does not disclose the actual source and whether the benefits are intended for a few individuals or the entire country.

Over the weekend, Minister of State without Portfolio Mamaka Bility led the unveiling of the first batch of earthmoving equipment, trucks, and water tankers. Many citizens expressed concerns about the origin of these multimillion-dollar earthmoving machines and equipment.

Despite several press conferences held at the Executive Mansion and the Ministry of Information, none have provided clarity on the source of these items. Some citizens believe it is a bilateral agreement, while others see it as President Joseph Boakai fulfilling campaign promises of national connectivity.
