Nimba County – Down Town FC and Gompa FC have booked their places in the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Orange National Second Division League after winning their respective semi-final matches in the 2024 National 3rd Division Playoffs.

In an all-Montserrado County clash, Down Town FC delivered a strong performance to defeat District #17 Academy 3-1 at the Gompa Playing Pitch in Nimba County. This victory not only secured their spot in the Grand Final of the National 3rd Division Playoffs but also confirmed their promotion to the 2024/2025 LFA Orange Second Division League.

Goals from Eddie Nyumah and Saliaman Sesay gave Down Town FC a commanding 2-0 lead by halftime. Samuel Wilson added another in the second half to seal the 3-1 win, paving the way for their success.
