Man Dies During Alleged Sexual Encounter in Eastern Uganda

International News: A 50-year-old man has reportedly died during a sexual encounter with a 40-year-old woman in eastern Uganda, according to local police authorities.

The deceased, identified as Kalamu Simon, allegedly collapsed while engaging in intercourse in a bush area in Bukooma Sub-county at about 9:00 p.m. on May 18, 2026.

Police said the woman raised an alarm after Simon suddenly became unresponsive, prompting nearby residents to rush to the scene before alerting authorities.

According to preliminary police findings, Simon was married and his wife had recently given birth.

Speaking on the incident, Samson Lubega, spokesperson for Busoga East Police, confirmed that investigations are ongoing to establish the exact cause of death.

The body has since been taken for a postmortem examination as part of standard procedures surrounding sudden deaths.
