MPC Standard Bearer Simeon Freeman Congratulates Unity Party For Winning 2023 Presidential Election

MONROVIA: The Standard Bearer of the Movement for Progressive Change, Simeon Freeman has hailed the victory of the Unity Party under the stewardship of Ambassador Joseph N. Boakai. MPC views the victory by Ambassador Boakai not only for the Unity Party but also for Liberia's forward march for national development through industrialization.

In a release, MPC through its political leader Mr. Freeman noted that the party has learned a lot after the 2023 elections and is more energized to ensure Liberia's democracy is on track and the people of the country become the greatest beneficiary of the nation's wealth.

The party also revealed plans to make a national policy statement in the coming days to usher in the new leadership of the country which it says will serve as a catalyst for genuine reconciliation and national Development.

In the release, Mr. Freeman also congratulated out-going President George Weah for conceding defeat which sets a path for national advancement, especially sustaining the democratic credentials of the country coming out of three consecutive elections.

MPC also used the medium to call on the outgoing government to ensure a smooth transition of civilian power as contained in the conceding message by President George Manneh Weah.
