MONROVIA: Liberian music sensation JZyNo, born Jonathan Lee Pratt, recently took to social media to share his heartfelt sentiments after missing out on the Best New Artist awards at both Afrimma and AEA-USA, losing to Nigeria's Portable at the prestigious 2023 African Entertainment Awards, USA.
JZyNo, hailing from Buchanan, Liberia, has been making waves in the music scene since gaining recognition in 2020 with his hit song "Kpan Kpan Me" featuring Teddyride. “We lost Afrimma’s Best New Artist award to a Nigerian. We also lost AEA-USA’s Best New Artist award to a Nigerian. If they won over us because of population, then we have a long way to go.
