Pres. Boakai Presents List of Nominees to House of Senate for Confirmation

Capitol Hill: President Joseph Nyumah Boakai has submitted several nominees to the Liberian Senate for confirmation consideration.

The nominees are Jonathan Grisby Minister of State for Presidential Affairs, Gregory Coleman Inspector General of Police, Boimah Kamara Finance Minister, Sam Gaye Executive Director EPS and Mr. Amin Modad, Minister of Commerce & Industry.

Others are Madam Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Alexander Nuetah, Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Jarso Jallah Saygbe, Minister of Education and Mr. Dorbor Jallah, Commissioner General, Liberia Revenue Authority, 

The rest are Dr. Louise Kpoto, Minister of Health and Mr. Abraham Kromah, Director General, Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency.

According to President Boakai's communication, the nominees possessed the required qualifications to serve the Liberian people in these various positions.

At the same time, the names of the nominees have been forwarded to the relevant Senate Committees.

Meanwhile, the decision of that august body was triggered by a motion filed by Bong County Senator Prince Kermue Moye.
