Pres. Elect Vow setting a pathway to sustainable Peace.
MONROVIA: A day on his official certification by the National Elections Commission (NEC), President elect and certificated, Ambassador Joseph Nyumah Boakai has promised to pursue a pathway of peace and development following his inauguration in January of 2024.
He stated, "During my inauguration, my vice president and I will setup a national roadmap for progress and development."
He also noted, “We will fully analyze the pathway to peace and development and progress of our country where all citizens will acknowledge the reward of collective endurance.
Amb. Boakai lauded Liberians for not only voting the Unity Party but they also protected their votes saying; such victory will be meaningless if Liberians can not benefit from the dividend of their labor.
This victory should be felt in every city, town village in Liberia and around the world.
The Liberian President elect called on all Liberians to join the UP administration in rebuilding the country.
He further commended President George Manneh Weah for conceding early defeat even when the final result from the NEC had not been released the action he termed as democratic.
