US$365,000 Provided for Inauguration Celebrations in Districts Allegedly, Reportedly Mismanaged by Unity Party Officials.
Knews.com report has gathered that the monstrous US$365,000 provided by the Unity Party for various districts did not reach them in full amount. According to a source, the ruling Unity Party’s officials are to be held liable for such alleged misappropriation.
Source within the UP revealed that the President fulfilled his promise and provided the US$365,000 to the Unity Party for disbursement to each electoral district across all seventy three (73) electoral districts.
Reliable info from district coordinators is that each district received US$4,000 instead of the US$5,000 intended for them. Sources from the counties confirmed that party Chairman Rev. Luther Tarpeh instructed the deduction of US$1,000 each from the stipulated amount for yet unknown reasons amounting to US$73,000 dollars in calculation.
The money is created misreactions amongst various district residents with some earlier accusing their district Representatives of recieving the money and squandering it.
Such allegation from the public led many lawmakers making clarity that they did not recieve a cent for their respective districts for Inagural celebration.
