President Boakai Reveals Team Dedicated to Accountability and Asset Recovery Efforts

Monrovia-President Joseph Nyumah Boakai has taken a decisive move towards ensuring accountability and transparency in governance by unveiled distinguished members of the Assets Recovery and Property Retrieval Core Team. This announcement comes in the wake of the issuance of Executive Order No. 126, which established the Office of Assets Recovery, signaling a firm commitment to reclaiming public resources and properties.

 Leading this crucial initiative is Clir. Edwin Kla Martin,  appointed as Chairman of the Core Team, with a mandate to spearhead the efforts in locating, recovering, and retrieving public assets. Joining him is a lineup of esteemed personalities entrusted with the responsibility of meticulously executing the directives outlined in the Executive Order.

The composition of the Core Team reflects a diverse array of expertise and experience, ensuring a comprehensive approach towards achieving its objectives. Ms. Maima Robertson assumes the role of Vice Chair, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge in governance and accountability.

Mr. Alexander Cuffy, appointed as a Special Advisor, will provide invaluable insights, drawing from his extensive background in the field. Additionally, the inclusion of Mr. Martin Kollie, a prominent Good Governance Activist, underscores the commitment to fostering transparency and integrity.
