“SDA Church Honors 20 Girls for Preserving Their Virginity”

Accra Ghana: According to international News outlet, a Seventh Day Adventist Church in Ghana held a special Thanksgiving service to honor 20 young girls, aged 13 to 16, for their commitment to preserving their virginity.
During the ceremony, the girls received undisclosed sums of money to support their well-being.
Mrs. Nana Amponsah Poku, the Wenchi West District Coordinator of the Young Adventist Women Ministries, praised the girls for their dedication and encouraged them to continue valuing their virginity until marriage. She also advised them to be careful about the friendships they form in 2025, emphasizing the importance of holding on to their values.
Mrs. Poku also discussed traditional practices like the Bragoro (Dipo) rite, which she believes helps preserve girls’ virginity and prevent teenage pregnancies that can hinder their growth and development.
