Woman Found Dead in Suspected Hit-and-Run on 72nd Road

Paynesville City, Liberia: The Liberia National Police has launched an investigation after an unidentified woman was found dead along the 72nd Road corridor early this morning.
Police say the incident appears to be a hit-and-run accident. The woman’s body was discovered on the roadside with personal belongings scattered nearby, including a handbag, slippers, and a mobile phone. Officers also found a pair of slippers believed to belong to a motorcyclist.

Witnesses at the scene said the victim may have been hit by a motorcycle, and the rider reportedly fled immediately after the crash.
“It happened so fast,” one eyewitness said. “By the time people realized, the motorcyclist was already gone.”
Police say investigations are ongoing to identify the victim and locate the suspect.
