Murder Mystery Shocks Grand Bassa County, Man Found Dead on Family Farmland

Grand Bassa County: A young man, believed to be in his late twenties, was found dead on his family’s farm in the BIA Community on Sunday, May 4, 2025, in Grand Bassa County.

The man, identified as Lincoln Bee, was discovered by his father, Henry Bee, who is a First Lieutenant in the Armed Forces of Liberia.

Henry Bee said four former workers of the farm, including his deceased son, were hired to collect wood for charcoal production. Narrating his ordeal to our correspondent, Henry said later in the evening he noticed the other workers were in town without his son as he started getting different stories about Lincoln’s whereabouts.

Feeling something was wrong, Henry said he decided to search the farmland, at which time he found the lifeless body of his son near a creek with several bruises.

A local jury who spoke to our correspondent confirmed there was no clear sign of foul play on Lincoln’s body. However, the Grand Bassa County detachment of the Liberia National Police has arrested the four workers, who are currently undergoing questioning.

The four individuals have been labeled as people of interest on the grounds they were last seen on the farmland shortly before Lincoln’s death and may have important information.

As the investigation continues, the community is left wondering as to what may have led to this tragic event and what it means for their safety.
