Tebeh Football Academy Clinched LFA's Montserrado Third Division Championship Unbeaten

Gardnersville, Liberia: Paynesville-based Third Division Club, Tebeh Football Academy, has emerged as champions of the 2025 Liberia Football Association (LFA) Montserrado County Third Division playoffs, recording an impressive 7-game unbeaten record to win the trophy.

The club staged a strong comeback from one goal down to defeat Black Man Warriors II 2-1 on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at the Tusa Sports Pitch in Gardnersville in a tightly contested Grand Final of the 2025 Montserrado County Third Division playoffs.

Blackman Warriors II took a first-half lead, but Tebeh Football Academy returned stronger from the break to find the back of the net twice with separate strikes from Nawou Fineboy and Moses Weah to seal their first regional Third Division trophy.

The Montserrado County Third Division championship marked a milestone achievement for the lads who rose from the Liberia Football Association community league to being crowned champions of the 2024/2025 Sinkor Sub-committee Third Division league and clinching the regional playoffs in their debut season.

Coach Aloysius Glassco's boys embarked on their regional playoffs journey, winning each game from the round of 32 to the Grand Final, which covered seven matches.

Meanwhile, the club has secured its spot in the National Third Division playoffs and has begun to set its eyes on the Second Division slot, which will appear to be another tedious journey.

Tebeh Football Academy, Blackman Warrior II, Theo United Todd FC, and Golden Dream FC have been confirmed as qualifiers for the Third Division clubs from the recent playoffs to represent Montserrado County in the National Third Division playoffs in the coming weeks.

The 2025 National Third Division playoffs, as usual, will feature regional champions from all LFA sub-association counties competing for four available slots to the Second Division for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
