“Samuel Kogar Da Big Criminal” Prophet Key Accuses Senator of Corruption Over Speaker Election Vote

Monrovia, Liberia: Outspoken political commentator Prophet Key has publicly accused Nimba County Senator Samuel Kogar of corruption, following reports that the newly certified Senator attempted to vote in the Speaker of the House election.

In a strongly worded statement that has stirred public reaction, Prophet Key blasted Senator Kogar for allegedly trying to influence the leadership of the House of Representatives after his election to the Senate.

Samuel Kogar da big criminal. You win as Senator, go and take your seat,” Prophet Key said in a video shared online. “You refused and say you want to go vote in the Speaker election first. Da corruption right there, Kogar.”

He went on to express frustration over Kogar’s actions, stating that the Senator had no constitutional authority to participate in the election of the House Speaker, having already been certified to serve in the Senate.

According to the law, once you are certificated as a Senator, you have no business in the House,” Prophet Key added. “The way I supported Kogar if he act crazy, I will lay his ma down and deal with her.”

The controversial comments have sparked debate, with some questioning Kogar’s role and others criticizing Prophet Key’s tone and language.

Senator Kogar has yet to respond to the accusations as of this publication.

The incident has further intensified political discourse around legislative conduct and constitutional adherence in Liberia’s 55th Legislature.
