Breaking News: Majority Bloc Passes Draft National Budget at Monrovia City Hall
Monrovia, Liberia: The Majority Bloc, led by Representative of District 12 Montserrado County, convened a session today at the Monrovia City Hall to pass the draft national budget.
The session, initially planned to take place at the Capitol Building, was relocated after the chamber was reportedly locked by an unknown individual, with the locks being changed shortly thereafter.
Representative Yekeh Kolubah, who was present during the incident, spoke with several journalists, accusing President Bokai of orchestrating the change of locks at the Capitol. Kolubah suggested that this act was a deliberate attempt to disrupt the legislative process.
