Former Senate Pro-Tempore Cletus Segbe Wotorson dies at 87
Liberian politician and assistant professor emeritus of Geology, Cletus Wotorson, is DEAD. The former Statesman was elected Senate Pro-Tempore on March 26, 2009, and served up to 2012.
He once served as Minister of Lands and Mines from 1978 to 1980 and CEO of LPRC from 1980 to 1983. Wotorson participated in Liberia’s 1997 presidential election as the standard bearer of the Alliance of Political Parties (LAP-LUP) and came fourth out of 13 candidates with 2.57% (15,969 votes out of 621,880).
