Female Journalist Comfort Charming Parker Needs Life-Saving Surgery

The Female Journalists Association of Liberia is urgently seeking assistance for one of its members, Comfort Charming Parker, a graduate of the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism and employee at PRO-POOR MEDIA INCORPORATED, which operates SAM TV, BRUSH FM, and THE CYCLONE NEWSPAPER. Comfort has been in critical condition following a severe accident over a month ago.
According to her family, the Liberia National Police informed them that Comfort was involved in an accident and rushed to the JFK Memorial Hospital. Medical reports reveal that the incident severely impacted her memory and spine, leaving her bedridden for over a month. Additionally, a CT scan confirmed severe spinal injuries, while the incident also caused her to break one of her arms.
The rider of the vehicle involved in the accident reported that Comfort was pushed off by a passenger, leading to her injuries. Doctors have advised that Comfort urgently requires surgery in Ghana, with an estimated cost of $10,000, which includes expenses for the procedure, accommodation, and travel.
The Female Journalists Association of Liberia is calling on well-meaning individuals and the public to assist in raising the necessary funds to help Comfort receive the medical treatment she desperately needs. Time is critical, and every contribution counts.
