House Approves New Bills to Help Develop Sinoe County

Monrovia, Liberia: The House of Representatives has approved three new bills to help improve local governance and development in Sinoe County.
The decision was made on Tuesday, June 10, during a regular session of the 55th Legislature.
According to the House Press Bureau, the bills were carefully reviewed and meet the requirements of the Local Government Act, including having enough schools, clinics, and a proper population size.
The three bills, submitted by Representative Thomas Romeo Quioh of Sinoe County District #1, call for the creation of:
• Seebeh Township in the Commonwealth District of Greenville
• Grisby Farm City in Butaw Administrative District
• Numonpoh Statutory District in Sinoe County
These areas have shown strong potential to boost local economies, create jobs, reduce poverty, and improve living conditions.
The House says this move shows its commitment to supporting local development and giving rural communities more control over their own affairs.
“These bills show our goal to bring government closer to the people and support national progress,” the statement said.
The bills will now go to the Senate for approval before becoming law.
