In a Tragic Display of Sorrow, Two Young Lives Lost After Drowning in Well

Swagger island, Somalia Drive: A heartbreaking and mysterious incident occurred in the Swagger Island Community, where a youth named Moses, believed to be around 16 years old, was sent by the woman he lives with to clean a well. Unfortunately, Moses fell into the well and was unable to escape.

Marfred, a community member, was alerted when the lady approached him in distress, asking for his help while also insisting on keeping the situation discreet. She explained that Moses had fallen into the well and needed assistance but urged that the unfolding events not be shared with the wider community. Despite this request, Marfred entered the well to help.

Momo, another child in the community who often took care of her younger twins, learned of the incident and immediately rushed to the scene. Without hesitation, Momo entered the well, hoping to rescue Moses. Tragically, Momo also became trapped and was unable to escape.

According to Sekou Aminata Konneh who was on the Scene, the incident has left the community in shock, with both Moses and Momo now lost in the well. Details surrounding the cause of the accident, the rescue efforts, and the eventual outcome remain unclear. Authorities are investigating, but as of now, it remains a deeply unsettling and mysterious event for the Swagger Island Community, just opposite the Stephen A. Tolbert Estate.
