LFA begin Regional Referee Course in Margibi County

Margibi County: The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has begun a regional beginner's referee course in Margibi County. The Regional beginner course starts today, Friday, March 22, 2024 in the city of Kakata, Margibi Capital.
The objective of the course is to increase the number of young referees in the counties and to also have a uniform interpretation of the Laws of the game.
Referee Director Ebenezer Stanley Konah, lead facilitator began the initiative on Day One at the Liberian Youth Network ( LIYONET) school Campus in Kakata.
Also in attendance were Joseph McGill, referee supervisor of Margibi County and Baccus Glay, class B referee.
Today's training saw 6 females in attendance with over 20 participants among them was Satta D. Johnson of Montserrado County.
According to the Liberia Football Association official Facebook dated February 14, 2024, the training was to kick-off from the 24-29 of February but was later postponed with Margibi County kicking out it training on Friday, 22 March .
The training runs from 22 - 24 of March 2024.
Nimba, Grand Bassa, Rivercess, and Sinoe Counties are part of the next phase.
