Geneva, Switzerland: Liberia’s Minister of Health, Dr. Louise M. Kpoto, has been elected Third Vice President of the 78th World Health Assembly (WHA), marking a significant milestone for the country’s growing influence in global health leadership.
The election took place during the first plenary session of the Assembly, currently underway in Geneva, Switzerland, where public health leaders and delegates from World Health Organization (WHO) member states have convened to deliberate on critical global health issues.
