Margibi County Police Embark on Massive Renovation of Kakata Headquarters

By: Moses P. Gibson

The Margibi County Police Detachment has begun a major renovation of its Kakata headquarters in an effort to give the facility a much-needed facelift. According to Korboi Brutus, Chief of Operations for Margibi County, the renovation is part of an initiative led by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Cllr. Patrick Kormazu.

Brutus highlighted that the project is a creative, collaborative effort by the police officers themselves, rather than a government-funded initiative. He emphasized the necessity of the renovations to improve the conditions of the police headquarters for both officers and the public.

Speaking to K-News, Brutus assured the public that the police officers are committed to ensuring the facility is up to standard. He also called on national and county leaders, as well as prominent citizens of Margibi, to support their efforts, as the police continue to advocate for additional projects to further enhance the Kakata headquarters.

The renovation is seen as a proactive move by the police force to make the facility more functional and welcoming for the community it serves.
