Veteran Nigerian iconic Actor John Okafor, dies at aged 62

Nollywood veteran, John Okafor AKA Mr Ibu is dead.

The actor reportedly passed away at Evercare Hospital in Lagos State after a protracted battle with illness.

Recall that the 62-year old had battled health issues that led to the amputation of his two legs.

Mr. Ibu known for exploring his Comic contents in African movies, responding to things effortlessly while giving a weird look leading to his nickname Mr Ibu died at aged 64 

Sources confirm that the Nigerian iconic actor died on Saturday March. 2 in a Lagos state hospital Nigeria.

Mr. Ibu who had revealed he had persistent issue with blood clothing attributed to disease blood vessel and struggle with various heath challenges for many years.

In late 2023 October he publicly sault financial assistance to addressed his ailment with initial plan to seek medication abroad, unfortunately the doctors deemed him conked out   for international travel , as his health continue to worsen  Mr. Ibu undertook the amputation of his leg in November 2023 marking a challenging phase in his battle against the unfortunate condition

He re-introduced himself to a new style opposite the usual one in several African movies lately before his dissolution.
