Shaita Angels Humiliates Tap Tap FC to Progress on Top of Women’s Football League Table
MONROVIA, LIBERIA: Shaita Angels Football Club has made a progressive move on to the top of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Upper Women’s League table with 14 points.
The milestone feat follows a dominating football hostility that translated in a 5-0 victory over newly promoted Tap-Tap Football Club on Tuesday, November 18, at the Tusa Sports Pitch in the Township of Gardnersville.
The win places Shaita Angels a narrow one point ahead of defending champions Determine Girls FC, who now sits second with 13 points. Determine Girls, however, have an outstanding match that places them in an advantageous space to reclaim the league table.
The win did only move them narrowly edged past their arch-rivals Determine Girls, but also maintain their unbeaten start to the 2025/2026 league season.
Shaita Angels, based in Careysburg City, the western part of Montserrado County showcased a splendid soccer performance on Match-day 6 that crashed Tap-Tap FC to a 5-0 humiliating defeat.
Midfielder Deborah Nyarko opened the scoring to give Shaita Angels a 1-0 first-half lead.
Coach Abrab Fofana’s side returned from the break with renewed energy, netting four additional goals. Forward Lucky Kikeh scored a brace, while teammates Kaddy Jarju and Sylvia Pyne each added a goal to seal the emphatic 5-0 win.
With the result, Shaita Angels maintained a undefeated run for the trophy, securing five wins one draw one from six league matches.
This impressive performance comes in a strong contest with defending champ, Determine Girls, who are also unbeaten. Determine Girls; have won four matches on draw in five league games with an outstanding game.
