Germany: The title race for the German Bundesliga this season has come to an end after Bayern Munich collected a much-needed win against Stuttgart on Sunday to secure the championship.
Bayern Munich came from 1-0 down to beat Stuttgart 4-2 at the Allianz Arena, and clinched the Bundesliga title for a historic 35th time.
The Bavarians, who have lost just once all season, needed only a point to win the crown after the nearest challengers Borussia Dortmund suffered a defeat at Hoffenheim on Saturday night.
But Stuttgart, chasing a place in next season's Champions League, threatened to spoil the party when Chris Fuhrich sent home a superb after 21st minute strike.
But, Bayern Munich reconsolidated and found the back of the net four times before the 53rd minute. Thanks to goals from Raphael Guerreiro, Nicolas Jackson, Alphonso Davies, and Harry Kane, which secured the club a crucial 3 points.
The Bavarians sealed the championship despite holding four games in hand.
The championship success keeps Bayern's hopes of winning the treble alive, with semi-finals against Bayer Leverkusen in DFB‑Pokal and Paris St-Germain in the Champions League to come later this month.
