Monrovia, Liberia: Political Advisor to President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Madam MacDella Cooper, has publicly confirmed long-standing rumors of a romantic relationship with House Speaker Richard Nagbe Koon, declaring for the first time that she is “the spouse of the Speaker.”

Madam Cooper made the confirmation in a video released today, ending years of public speculation and silence surrounding the nature of her relationship with the Speaker. In the video, she stated plainly:

“I am the spouse of the Speaker.”
