EPS-Stops-Mohammed-Bah-From-Entering-President-Boakai’s Premises
Monrovia, Liberia: The Executive Protection Service (EPS) has reportedly barred Special Presidential Envoy Mohammed Bah from accessing President Joseph Boakai and all presidential facilities following an alleged security incident at the President’s residence.
According to a communication obtained by Kool 91.9 Fm/knewsonline,the incident allegedly occurred on May 5, 2026, when Ambassador Bah reportedly forced his way past security officers after being informed that President Boakai was unavailable.
The EPS further alleged that Bah assaulted officers assigned at the residence and issued threats during the confrontation. Authorities described the matter as a serious breach of presidential security protocol.
As a result, the agency has suspended Bah’s access to the President and all related facilities pending a full security review and investigation.
However, speaking to Spoon Network, Amb. Mohammed Bah denied all allegations against him. He confirmed receiving the communication from the EPS but maintained that he neither assaulted nor insulted any officer.
Bah is now calling for a swift, transparent, and impartial investigation into the matter.
