LDEA Sinoe Detachment Burns $LRD14 Million Liberian Dollars' Worth of Narcotics

Maryland: The Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) Sinoe Detachment has burned narcotic substances worth over 14 million Liberian dollars on World Drugs Day.
The exercise, held on Saturday, June 28, 2024, in Greenville, brought together community leaders, civil society organizations, media institutions, the county attorney, joint security forces, the office of the county superintendent, and others.
The team, headed by LDEA Boss Sinoe Chapter Milton Klo Howard, burned large quantities of narcotic substances, including 1,135 grams of cocaine, 0.315 grams of kush, 2.810 kg of precursor chemicals, 1.190 grams of tramadol, 277.985 grams of high-grade marijuana, 23.730 grams of low-grade marijuana, and 0.250 grams of heroin.
The LDEA Sinoe County Boss, Milton Klo Howard, stated that the exercise is in line with the long-standing mandate that all drugs seized during LDEA patrols should be burned and witnessed by the general public.
