Sesay's Gaborone United were officially crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Botswana Premier League on Saturday, April 25, 2026, winning the title race in advance with 65 points from 27 matches.
Their championship was confirmed following second-placed Jwaneng Galaxy’s goalless draw against Sua Flamingoes.
Despite a 2-0 defeat away from home to Tafic FC on Saturday, Gaborone United holds an 11-point margin that is impossible to be overturned by Jwaneng Galaxy with 3 matches left to wrap up the season.
The Liberia international second silverware underscored his growing impact on the team since joining Gaborone United in 2023.
