Pres. Boakai Galvanizes Men, Makes First five Appointments

 Monrovia: Few hours following his Inauguration as President of the Republic of Liberia, H.E. Ambassador Joseph Nyumah has nominated Mr. Boakai S. Kamara as Minister of Finance and Development Planning (MFDP)- Kamara is a Regional Sales Manager at LE Group International based in Gardnersville, Montserrado. Previously, Boakai was a Student at Litsu.

Sylvester Grigsby, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs- He is also a product of the Unity party who benefited from former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf's reshuffle process in 2016. 

S. Kofi Woods, National Security Advisor- Samuel Kofi Woods was born on the 5th of January, 1964. He is famous for being an activist. He once served as the Minister of Labor under former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

Woods 60 is a Liberian human rights activist and politician who founded the Forefront Organization.

The 60-year-old activist was born in Liberia. He once operated a radio program which exposed illegal executions and arrests. His Forefront Organization documented the human rights abuses that occurred during the Second Liberian Civil War.   

Gregory Coleman, Inspector General, Liberia National Police- Prior to his nominatation by President Boakai, Greg was during the administration of former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as Police Director, succeeding Col. Chris Massaquoi of the Liberian National Police.

Sam Gaye, Director of the Executive Protective Service- Gaye is a veteren former officer of the Executive Protective Service and others. He comes with wealth of experience in the field of securitism.

Their nomination is thereby subject to confirmation by the house of senate.
