The Office of the President Refutes Claims of Withdrawal of WCC Executive Director

Executive Mansion, Monrovia: The Office of the President has officially dismissed recent reports suggesting that President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. has withdrawn the appointment of Cllr. Johnathan Massaquoi as the Executive Director of the Office of the War and Economic Crimes Court (WCC).

In a statement released today, the Office of the President emphasized that these reports are unfounded and misleading. The office clarified that Cllr. Massaquoi is currently on an official mission abroad, diligently serving the interests of the WCC. During this mission, he is expected to engage in high-level discussions and gather crucial information to further the court's objectives.

Upon the completion of his mission, Cllr. Massaquoi will provide a comprehensive report to President Boakai, detailing the outcomes and insights gained during his time abroad. This report will contribute to the ongoing efforts to address war and economic crimes effectively.
