LDEA Agents Apprehend Liberian and Sierra Leonean Nationals with US$20,000 Worth of Illicit Drugs in Grand Cape Mount County

MONROVIA, LIBERIA: The Grand Cape Mount detachment of the Liberia Drug Enforcement Agency has arrested a Liberian and a Sierra Leonean national for trafficking Kush with a street value of $20,000 in Grand Cape Mount.

 

The suspects, Joseph Barclay, 26, a Liberian, and David Kalokoh, 23, a Sierra Leonean, were apprehended for trafficking 1 kilogram of Kush valued at approximately 3.8 million Liberian dollars (LD$3,800,000).

 

The arrest occurred on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at around 2:30 PM at the Bo Waterside Port of Entry. 

 

LDEA agents discovered the drugs concealed inside a black Wrangler Jeep, which was being towed due to mechanical issues.

 

Both suspects have been investigated, charged, and referred to the Tienii Magisterial Court for trial and forwarded to the Tienii Magisterial Court for trial.
