L.R.A Exceeds 2024 Revenue Target with Record $700 Million Collection

Paynesville Liberia: The Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA) has exceeded its 2024 fiscal year revenue target of $690 million, collecting over $700 million in domestic revenue. This remarkable achievement was announced by LRA Commissioner General James Jallah during a press conference.

Commissioner Jallah disclosed that $692 million of the total amount has already been verified by the Authority’s processing team, with an additional $10 million currently in transit and undergoing final processing. He expressed confidence that the verified total would surpass $700 million once all reconciliations are completed.

This milestone reflects the commitment, resilience, and collaborative efforts of all stakeholders involved in the revenue mobilization process,” said Commissioner Jallah.

The LRA chief extended his appreciation to taxpayers for fulfilling their civic duties, emphasizing that their compliance and contributions have been instrumental in achieving this success. He noted that the trust and cooperation of citizens have inspired LRA staff to consistently strive for excellence.
