Muslim Community Indicts Boakai Govt. of Discrimination among Muslims…. Calls for Opportunities

Monrovia: The Grand Motif of the Supreme Council of Fatwa and Mosques in Liberia has decried what he described as discrimination against some Islamic organizations by the Executive Mansion.

Sheik Abubakar Sumaworo said in recent times, he has observed that the Executive mansion has very discriminatory when it comes to interacting with the Islamic organizations by the Executive Mansion in the country.

Sheik Sumaworo registered his cries when the Executive mansion organized a reception Muslims who returned for pilgrimage Saudi Arabia in Gbarnga, Bong County recently.

 ‘’ I want to advise you Mr. Advisor that the President is for everybody. The President have to protect every Islamic organization in the country. Let all council be treated with equal right”.

According to him, it is unfair that others be treated different among the others.

Sheik Sumaworo cautioned the Islamic Advisor to the President, Sekou Sheriff, to take serious consideration on the manner in which he his providing advisory on Islamic activities to the presidency in order for the Liberian leader to treat all Islamic organizations equally.
