Davido extends deal with Sony Music, Columbia UK and RCA Records

Davido, who is currently trending with his new album, “Timeless”, said the renewals proved that he has worked hard and justified his ratings as Africa’s biggest Afrobeat artiste.

Nigerian musical star, David Adeleke, Globally known as Davido has announced the renewal of his lucrative record deal with long-time international partners Sony Music, Columbia UK and RCA Records.

“I’m grateful to officially announce that I have extended my partnership with Sony Music Entertainment and RCA Records, so we can keep bringing you more TIMELESS moments. Don’t stop dey for who dey for you,” the Afro hitmaker wrote on his verified social media handles.

He signed  the record deal with the industry in January 2016.  The artist said that the year has continued to yield positive results for his career.

The latest episode of the multiple award winning Afrobeats star comes amid the global success of his latest album, “Timeless”, and its lead single “Unavailable”, featuring SA’s Musa Keys.

Columbia Records is the oldest surviving label in the recording industry. It is a premier frontline label of Sony Music Entertainment.

With headquarters in New York City, its roster features some of the most famous names in music history including Bob Dylan, Patti Smith and Bruce Springsteen, alongside some of the finest cutting-edge artists in the world today such as Calvin Harris, Rosalía and Koffee.
