Ahead of Christmas Season: LNP Launches Nationwide Security Operation

MONROVIA, LIBERIA: The Liberia National Police (LNP) has officially launched a nationwide security operation in preparation for the festive season. The launch occurred on Monday, December 15, 2025, at LNP Headquarters.
Commissioner for Operations Prince Davis emphasized that police visibility will be significantly increased across the country. He urged the public to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities in their communities.
As part of this initiative, LNP officers will be strategically deployed at major intersections, public spaces, and areas identified as crime-prone, ensuring the safety of citizens and residents during the celebrations. The LNP reaffirms its commitment to maintaining peace, law, and order.
This operation aims to create a safe, calm, and secure environment where everyone can celebrate the season without fear. The police also encourage strong cooperation with the public; reminding everyone that security is a shared responsibility.
