BONG COUNTY: A heartbreaking tragedy struck during the early morning hours on Monday, December 8, 2025, when a young man was fatally hit by an ArcelorMittal Liberia train along the Pecafa Kilometer 108 rail line in Tukpablee, Bong County.

 

 

The victim, identified as Alvin Kpeleh of Weakaigar Town, was pronounced dead at the scene. Community members say Alvin was known for his calm demeanor, dedication to work, and strong ties to his town. News of his sudden death has left residents in deep mourning.
