CSA Director-General Joekai Appointed to Lone Star Fundraising Committee

Monrovia, Liberia: The Liberia Football Association (LFA) has appointed Civil Service Agency (CSA) Director-General Dr. Josiah F. Joekai Jr. as a member of the Mobilization and Fundraising Committee for Liberia’s national football team, Lone Star.

According to the LFA, the appointment was made on July 20, 2026, in recognition of Dr. Joekai’s commitment to the growth and development of football in Liberia.

In its appointment letter, the LFA said Dr. Joekai’s experience and leadership would strengthen the committee’s efforts to mobilize support and raise resources for the national team.

The association expressed confidence that his involvement would contribute to achieving its goals of providing sustainable support for the Lone Star.

Dr. Joekai has accepted the appointment and pledged to work closely with the Liberia Football Association and other stakeholders to help mobilize the resources needed to support the Red, White and Blue.

The LFA also congratulated Dr. Joekai on his appointment and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute meaningfully to the committee’s work.
