Determine Girls, Shaita Angels Wrestle for Upper Women's League Championship Today

Monrovia, Liberia: The title race in the Liberia Football Association (LFA) Upper Women's League will be decided today, June 3, 2026, between arch-rivals Determine Girls and Shaita Angels in a showdown sports pundits view as a "clash of the titans".

As it stands, only 1 point separates league leaders Determine Girls from second-placed Shaita Angels in the top spot as both sides face each other in their final league fixture.

Leaders Determine Girls sit on 57 points, while rival Shaita Angels hold 56 points on the LFA Upper Women's League table.

Their final league battle is set to kick off at 3:30 PM at the famous Tusa Sports Pitch in Gardnersville. Both sides will be hoping for a win against the other to clinch the 2025/2026 league title.

Determine Girls will need at least a draw to retain their championship in the Upper Women's League.

While, Shaita Angels will need a compulsory win to lift the 2025/2026 Championship. Shaita Angels are in search of their first-ever Upper Women's League trophy.

On the other hand, the Iron Ladies, Determined Girls, are looking for their 7th league title. The first leg between Determine Girls and Careysburg's side Shaita Angels ended in a goalless draw.
