"Diaspora Liberians Face Heat Due to Poor Planning of Annual Return Farewell at Executive Mansion"
Monrovia Liberia: While President Boakai was seated with over 200 Diaspora Liberians in the Executive Mansion parlor, an issue arose as the air conditioning system, responsible for maintaining comfort in the hall, malfunctioned.
This led to a wave of extreme heat circulating throughout the space.
Several Diaspora Liberians began using fans and paper to cool themselves, while President Boakai and the First Lady remained seated.
After a few minutes, the event organizers brought in three fans two large ones and one small trying to alleviate the discomfort.
Eventually, some attendees decided to leave the hall and stand outside, where they sought relief from the cool breeze.
