Monrovia, Liberia: Former President George Weah has reportedly provided financial assistance to a Liberian content creator and self-identified supporter of the Congress for Democratic Change (CDC) following a public appeal on social media.

Cyntara Cyntara, known online as a content creator, recently took to social media requesting help with her educational expenses at the African Methodist Episcopal University.

In her widely shared post, she directly appealed to the former president, writing:

To my beloved president George Weah pls I need your help oo pls pay my school fees at the African Methodist Episcopal university yaa I need your.

According to accounts circulating online, Weah responded to the appeal and subsequently invited the student for a meeting.

Sources familiar with the development indicate that the former president settled her tuition obligations, allowing her to continue her studies for the semester.

The gesture has since drawn attention on social media, with supporters describing the move as an act of goodwill.
