President Boakai Suspends LTA Boss Over Corruption Allegations

Multiple sources within the Executive Mansion have confirmed to this paper that President Joseph Boakai has suspended Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA) Chairman Abdullah Kamara.

The decision follows damning allegations of corruption raised in the 2024 General Auditing Commission (GAC) report.

Sources say the Ministry of Justice is now preparing an indictment, while the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has launched an active investigation into Mr. Kamara’s alleged role.

These claims have not been independently verified.
