Monrovia, Liberia:Golden Dream FC defensive midfielder Raphael Tweah has confirmed interest from LFA First Division heavyweight FC Fassell, following a standout season that helped his side secure promotion to Liberiaโ€™s top flight.

The confirmation came during a recent interview with KOOL FM Sports reporter Benjamin Gabriel Keibah, after the journalist reached the player through his inbox to clarify growing transfer rumors surrounding his future.

When asked whether FC Fassell had made contact, Tweah responded, โ€œYes sir, I was contacted by my club sir,โ€ confirming that discussions are already ongoing regarding a possible move.

Pressed further on whether he would be open to joining FC Fassell, the midfielder expressed strong interest, saying, โ€œYesโ€ฆ I would love to because I did a lot for my team and I want to get a new and better experience.โ€

Golden Dream FC, who recently earned promotion to the LFA First Division League, now face uncertainty over the future of one of their most influential players ahead of their debut season in the top flight.

Reflecting on what he could bring to FC Fassell if the deal goes through, Tweah said, โ€œWellโ€ฆ firstly Iโ€™m happy to be with a new club, but trust me Iโ€™m going to put in my all to give my new club a championship with my talent and the other guysโ€™ talent within the team.โ€

He further added, โ€œWe all gonna do better next season, and Iโ€™m going to bring serious energy to help build my new clubโ€™s midfield very strong,โ€ emphasizing his commitment to making an impact at a higher level.

When asked about the possibility of competition for a starting role, Tweah dismissed any concerns, stating confidently, โ€œNo nothing like that sirโ€ฆ because I believe in myself and I trust what I can do.โ€

He concluded, โ€œSo no fear, I will do my do trust me,โ€ signaling his readiness to compete and perform if a move to FC Fassell materializes.
