Girl, 19, Brutally Beaten by Neighbors in Foya City

Foya City, Lofa County: A 19-year-old girl, whose name is being withheld for protection and stigmatization, has been severely beaten by a group of female neighbors following a minor dispute in Foya City, Lofa County.

According to eyewitness Christophina Nyanneh, the altercation stemmed from a misunderstanding involving a child, which quickly escalated into a heated argument.

The argument turned violent when several women from the neighborhood allegedly ganged up on the young woman.

Reports indicate that the victim was forcefully restrained, with her legs tightly tied and her hands bound together behind her back. As a result, she sustained serious injuries.

The incident has sparked outrage among residents, with many calling for swift justice and an investigation into the matter.

Authorities in Lofa County have yet to release an official statement on the matter.
