Lamine Yamal Wins La Liga Young Player of the Year Award

FC Barcelona's teenager Lamine Yamal has been named La Liga's Young Player of the Year following his outstanding performance in the just-ended 2023-2024 league season.

The 16-year-old Spanish winger netted 5 goals and provided 6 assists for FC Barcelona and helped his side maintain runner-up position in La Liga and secure a spot for next year's UEFA Champions League.

The presence of the teenager has been very instrumental for the Catalonians and many fans admired him for his exceptional skill and ability to create goal changes.

Lamine Yamal had a bright season with FC Barcelona considering his call-up to the Spain National Team at the age of 16. The young winger will keep his hope alive for the FIFA Young Player of the Year Award with other younger stars including, Real Madrid's Brahim Diaz, and Chealse's Cole Palmer among others who are the standing contenders.
