Nyonblee Kangar Lawrence, Elected-Unopposed (Pro- temp of the Liberian Senate)

Capitol Hill: Grand Bassa Senator Nyonblee Kangar Lawrence has termed her preferment unopposed as Pro-Tempore of the Liberian senate. Speaking after her induction, Senator Nyonblee Kangar Lawrence described her preferment as a life changing moment in the history of Liberia.

She praised her colleagues, family and friends for the overwhelming support to have gotten another position being first amongst equal.

According to her, she has broken the barriers as it relates to women participation in politics as they are often bully by their male counterpart. She vows to discharge her to duties beginning with her first hundred days deliverables.

She has also committed to declare her assets this week as means to demonstrating transparency and accountability in the governance of Liberia.

According to her, the cute Senate is blessed with many expressed professionals from various backgrounds as such, her administration will succeed.
